Can you attach the files gathered by this support tool immediately after you see the issue again? http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269

To clarify, which 8.1 update did you install?

I had the Windows 8.1 update. WIM told me to install the V7.4 M2. When I did, the 8.1 was deleted out.

Hi,

Can you try disabling the Optimize for Video option in the DisplayLink taskbar UI?
