Hi,

Please run this command "sc delete mctkmd" (without the quotes) through a command prompt and press Return. Reboot and you should be good to go.

Thanks,
James

Thumbs up Got it working

That service (along with a few others) were interfering with the install. I also ran the sc delete on the first two services listed on your troubleshooting page and then rebooted my VAIO. After it rebooted I was able to install 7.5.54609.0 without any issues and my AOC e1659Fwu is now up and running.

Thanks for your assistance.

Hi,

What kind of issue are you having with the e1659Fwu?

Do you have both ends of the USB "Y" cable attached to your PC?

Please attach the logs from this tool:
http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269

When you reply please select "Manage Attachments" from the "Additional Options" section below.

From there select Upload and navigate to the output of the tool.

Thanks,
James

Hi,

I looks like the firmware upgrade is not working.

To upgrade the firmware in your monitor please connect it to a PC with a non Haswell chipset with the latest DisplayLink software installed (Intel Core iX-3xxx and lower / any AMD chipset).

After doing this you can then reconnect to your current Haswell system.

Thanks,
James

Hi,

Alternatively, connected using USB 2.0 (a USB 2.0 cable or through a USB hub) to your Haswell PC which then should successfully upgrade the firmware.

Thanks,
James
