Hi
We do thoroughly test the driver from Windows update before putting it live, but it seems you are having more problems than you should be. Windows decides when to push the new driver from Windows update - we are not in control of that once we tell Microsoft what the latest driver is. In a corporate environment, I would expect Windows update to be turned off to prevent Windows randomly updating any drivers on a computer. Instructions for doing this can be found here: http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=367 However it would be good to know how it was not working on Windows 8.1. Is it possible to gather the log files after it has failed? It should be a seamless upgrade process, but could need a reboot. Wim |
