JamesH, I have uploaded the logs here. Thanks for the help. An update, before collecting the logs I updated my video card drivers to the latest, and just to try again I uninstalled the displaylink software and reinstalled the latest version. It now shows up in device manager as DL-165 Adapter and not Unknown Device. But still will not detect the additional monitor.

UPDATE--
Rebooted desktop for a third time, and it shows up as Unknown Device. Collected logs again. http://www.fileswap.com/dl/PgpsMWBVAx/ |
