thank you for the fast fixing. The installation of the new driver with

$ sudo LANG=C ./displaylink-driver-5.3.1.34.run

and

$ sudo ./displaylink-driver-5.3.1.34.run

is working fine.

Unfortunately the perfomance issue maintains. Do i miss something?

I am using a Lenovo Dock 2 USB-C with USB-A
