Hello,

If screen recording option is unavailable you have to make sure that your computer recognizes that DisplayLink powered device has been connected. There are usually two main scenarios where Screen Recording is unavailable - the device is not using DisplayLink technology or the device is not detected by the PC.
If DisplayLink device is not detected or visible under USB bus then no request for Screen Recording permission is made as no device is requesting it.

Make sure to check if your device is recognized and then if it shows DisplayLink in details of that device. You can do all that by following: https://support.displaylink.com/know...at-all-when-co

When it comes to USB monitors if they just blink and go black ensure that it is connected via high power USB port or an external high power USB hub. It is worth checking on another PC if it has the same issue.

Thank you,
Katarzyna
