I don't believe it relates to the version of DisplayLink at all - I believe it's a MacOS/Hardware issue for now. Even when I tried installing RDM or SwitchResX, it also did not work, as in, the resolutions I was expecting was not visible.

I've contacted DisplayLink support, and they were really helpful. I understand it's an issue with Apple, and I hope in 11.5.2, we'll see a fix specifically for M1 MacBook Pros.
