Default DisplayLink

Mac Pro, 10.13.4, USBc-HDMI works, but USB3DOCKH2DP display link nor HDMI on the unit does not.

Default Looks like the same problem

Received my MB 168B today. Running 10.13.1. After over an hour in chat with ASUS support installing and uninstalling the driver I decided to look here.

I'm glad the problem isn't isolated to my new install.

MacBook Air
Intel Core i5
1.8 GHz
8 GB

It seems that my monitor recognizes a signal (as it doesn't go to sleep) but it is not getting picture nor does it show in the 'arrangement' tab for my display preferences.

If anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Did you fix this, I have had the same issue and this fixed it for me...
  • Download 4.1.11 driver, install as normal
  • Reboot MAC and log back in, screens are still not working
  • Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy
  • At the bottom of the General screen, it will say something like, certain apps were stopped from installing or loading, I can't quite remember exact message
  • Click message and then select the DisplayLink Corp option and it will ask to reboot again.
  • Reboot MAC and then all should be fine

Hope this helps someone!

Those instructions may work if you didn't have a DisplayLink driver installed when you upgraded to High Sierra. For those who already had the drive installed, the authorization doesn't show when you uninstall/reinstall.

I can also confirm the issue still exists with Beta 2 of 10.13.4.

Yes, it was a clean install, don't know why it can't be fixed, such a shame as I haven't used my dock for two months until today.

Same here. Beta 2 - no change to DisplayLink. Lemon colored screen. There’s irony somewhere in there.

Hey Lawrence- your suggestion worked for me! Big time thanks. I just bought the AOC monitor and could not get it to work at all. Running 10.13.3 before installing the DisplayLink driver. Have not installed to 10.13.4
