I am trying to get the display link drivers to work with WPF applications and Java applications under windows 7. I can get them to work intermittantly, but they will stop work shortly after. The problem is with painting the screen. Most of the time I just get a border of the application if I am on a monitor hooked up through displaylink. I can move the window back to a VGA connected monitor and the window looks normal. As soon as I move it back to the displaylink monitor, the window freezes. I have not been able to turn off the hardware acceleration on the video drivers because the troubleshooting tab options are greyed out.
I am using a Dell E6500 with NVIDIA Quadra NVS 160M I am using the latest NVIDIA drivers for windows 7 64bit. I have also tried the two previous releases of the same drivers and the dell version on Dell's website. I have tried the 5.3 and 5.4 beta displaylink drivers with the same result. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Keith |
