no 1920x1080 resolution on my 1080p benq mac os 10.6.7 and 1.6b4 driver

It's not a driver issue, there are different DisplayLink chips that can be in the products you can buy and the main difference between them is the maximum supported resolution. This information is usually reported by the vendor, which brand was your DisplayLink device?
It looks like you have a DL165 based product, which supports a maximum resolution of 1920x1080. You would need a DL195 based product that supports up to 2048x1152 and usually costs a bit more: http://www.displaylink.com/displaylink_hardware.php
