Is this the information you require Wim? If not, please let me know what is missing.

This afternoon I removed KB2670838, reinstalled the displaylink software. IE stopped working. I got "internet explorer has stopped working" and "desktop window manager stopped working and was closed" messages. I removed the displaylink software, everything works again.
