the tv DEFINATELY supports 1080i resolutions, as seen with my XBOX 360, PS3, and Other Laptop with HDMI out built in.
i have checked to make sure all of the graphics drivers, and device drivers for the adapter are up to date.

the list doesnt event have any options above 720.
is there anything i can do to get 1080 out of this setup?
1080i is not 1080p. 1080i is actually an interlaced mode, and appears as 1920x540 in the mode list. We don't support interlaced modes, which is why this mode is not available when you plug into your DisplayLink adapter.

We will be choosing the highest non interlaced mode to use.
