Lenovo X1C USB 3.0 Dock - Fuzzy Image Performance Log

How often does my Lenovo USB 3.0 with the DisplayLink chip create fuzzy images and mouse lag? What did I try to do troubleshoot? Why does this issue drive me crazy?

Well, now you'll know... :-)

This thread will be my running log of each time I dock to my USB 3.0 Dock, and my graphics are fuzzy, which in-turn causes poor performance on the rest of the computer.

- Started my day on battery working away from my desk.
- Returned to my desk with my X1C in hibernation
- Plugged in the X1C to power the USB 3.0 Dock
- Choppy graphics and pixelation started immediately after logging in from hibernate
- Power cycled the laptop, no change
- Powered down the laptop, powered down the dock, powered up the dock, powered up the laptop, no change
- Powered down the laptop, powered down the dock, powered up the laptop FIRST, fully booted, THEN powered up the dock, no change
- Decided I needed to get back to work, and am now working docked and just dealing with the poor-performing graphics

AS ALWAYS, I'M OFFERING MY TIME AND REMOTE ACCESS TO MY COMPUTER IF THAT WILL HELP FINALLY RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. I'M WILLING TO PUT IN THE TIME TO GET THIS ISSUE RESOLVED FOR GOOD.
