Ok, USB 3 cable tested.
There is a change so far as the transmitter is now detected and flashes, but the system compatibility check still says it is not installed. Last edited by KBL; 09-03-2013 at 03:50 PM. |

Ok, so as I have not been having much luck with this, I uninstalled the 7.4M software. Rebooted and then installed the 7.1M1 software and rebooted again.
Then plugged in the WPCTVPRO and now it gets detected, but as a Portable Drive!!!! Grrrrrr. |

It seems we may have a solution...
From the diamond forum... "Once you get detection as a portable drive, that means that the device is ready to connect. However due to the optical nature of this device, if there is not a clear line of sight between the transmitter and receiver, then the device will not function." Will check it out as soon as I get control of the TV. lol |

Finally!!!
![]() [IMG] [/IMG]It seems that after updating the drivers and then obtaining a Hi Speed USB 3.0 Cable, the only other thing I had to do was make sure that there was line of sight as suggested on the Diamond forum. All I need to do now is try to adjust the image on the receiving monitor, as it is a little larger than the one displayed on the laptop screen. Happy so far anyway. ![]() Thanks for the help.
