Asus Varidrive with Asus Zenbook Touch UX31A Display issue

On one of my Varidrives it worked like a charm. However, when I got back home and tried in the second unit, I got this message (after that screen it goes right back to "enter serial" screen):

Here's another result I got (again, it goes back to serial entry screen):
