Default Toshiba Dynadock U3.0 - Network times out

Hello

We just purchased a bunch of Toshiba Dynadock U3.0 docks.

OS: Windows 8.1
Laptop: Sony Vaio PRO 11
Currently Connected Devices: 2 external screens, keyboard, mouse, ethernet connection.

We have run into a problem that when a user opens a mapped network folder and leaves it open for a few mins, it automatically closes by itself or sometimes the network connection times out and an error shows up saying that you no longer have connection to that folder.

But as soon as we try to reopen that folder it opens fine without any issues.

We tried to recreate this same issue by connecting to our network via WiFi, another dock and even another USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter. The issue does not occur.

It only happens when using the Toshiba Dynadock U3.0.

Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

I dont really want to have to return all docks.

Using all updated drivers Version 7.5

Thanks
Maulik

Hi,

What was the other dock you tried?

When the issue occurs can you ping the network drive successfully?

Thanks,
James
