Setup:
Belkin Dual Display USB 3.0 Dock X1 Carbon Windows 8.1 Displaylink Mgr - 7.5.52874.0 Question: Is there a limitation on screen resolution when using 2 monitors? When my ASUS PB278 27" IPS monitor is the only display connected through the Display port I can drive it at the max 2560x1440 resolution of the display. However, as soon as I connect my Acer X223W to the DVI port the Displaylink drivers reset the ASUS to 1920x1080. Kind of a bummer, I'd really like to use both of these monitors if I can and I'm hoping this is a configuration issue, or maybe there is another dock out there that supports this. |

Hi,
This behaviour is as designed in the current range of docks. Products based on the forthcoming DL-3950 allow what you're after. Thanks, James |

Hi,
That's down to the OEMs to decide but I expect you'll see them appearing during Q2 2014. I'd recommend contacting Targus about their forthcoming dock: http://m.prnewswire.com/news-release...239076761.html Thanks, James |
