Model: Mid 2009 13" MacBook Pro

To reproduce:
1. put laptop to sleep at home (clamshell)
2. wake laptop next day at work, while plugging into monitor (via mini displayport - VGA adapter, not a USB)
3. shows desktop briefly, then says "your computer needed to restart because of a problem". Upon restart, kernel panic window appears.

I'm not able to run the debug tool currently as I'm away from my macbook.
