Displaylink as primary monitor

Hi all,
i am using a lenovo thinkvision lt1423p usb monitor.
it works fine as a second monitor, but whenever i try to boot with it as the only monitor i get a black screen. Is it possible to use it as the only monitor on windows 8?

Hi,

No, it can only be a secondary monitor.

Once you have booted you can always disable the notebook monitor.
