Dell D3000 fails to display on external monitors after disconnect

Hi,

Been a while since I was last here.

OK, I've seem to be having the same/similar problems as described above.
The connection on my dell3000 is not working, but after some on/off, replugging of usb cables it sometimes works.. but today it doesn't.
After following the last steps my ethernet connection seemed to be detected, but secondary monitor still is not there. Trying a reboot next.
