Hi James,
The USB port replicator is this version: http://www.amazon.com/USB-Port-Repli.../dp/B004Y46J1W The speakers are connected to the port replicator via analogue jack, and the port replicator is connected to the computer via USB. "USB audio device" is selected as the audio output. Thanks, Ryan |

Can you look in device manager and check if there is a yellow exclamation mark against the USB Audio entry? Thanks, James |

No yellow exclamation mark. I have a green check mark next to the USB Audio when that item is set as default.
