Hey,
I am looking for an HDMI to USB adapter to use a display link monitor with a phone. In other words, and I don't even know if this exists, I want to buy the MB168+ by ASUS, but I don't want to buy until I can play content on it with my phone and laptop. (S5 via MHL or ATIV Tab 7) Again, I don't even know if this exists, but this is what I want. If I can't make this work I'll just keep holding out. But if I can, that would make my decision very easy. Thanks. |

Sure,
DisplayLink is USB not MHL. Depends on your hardware (phone model) and what you are trying to play on the external monitor. Also depends on which OS (name+version) you have on your phone. Some monitors draw too much power for the phone, but they are provided with a USB Y-cable so you can plug it to a power bank.
