https://verily.com causes laptop to run very low

I've found my problem - the wireless keyboard batteries were dying. While that website does cause the process to use a ton of CPU, it does not cause the input delay like I thought.

I'm using the laptop in a dock with an extra monitor attached, and the laptop is open.
