Hello,

Thank you for your patience whilst I was on holidays.
The error message suggests you are using an old driver on a new OS.
You may have been using the driver that AOC ships with their monitors... which is unlikely to be recent.

Would you please be able to describe what the error is?
Here is what I suggest:
1. Disconnect the AOC monitor
2. Run the End User Cleaner as described in our FAQ.
3. Reboot
4. Connect the AOC monitor and wait patiently for a couple of minutes. First, your computer will fetch the driver from Windows Update and then will install it, and will update your monitor. This monitor does not support fast firmware upgrade and therefore you need to wait for the upgrade to work.
5. If you don't get pixels displayed after 10 minutes (should be only a couple of minutes but I don't know what machine and Internet connection you have), please run our Diagnostic Tool and post the zip in your reply. Only DisplayLink employees can download it.

Kind regards,
Alban
