Thanks He'emin. I had the same, frozen screens. Your solution works like a charm for me. High CPU usage with this, however it works ;-).

My config:
- Fedora 26
- kernel 4.11.0-0.rc8.git0.1.fc26.x86_64
- evdi module 1.40
