The hardware has ports for HDMI and Displayport cables for each of 2 monitors.

The workaround was to replace the DisplayPort cables with HDMI cables.

The odds of 2 cables/ports going bad at the same time is astronomical, so it seems a bug in the driver or firmware.

I'm not at all happy with the support I got on this product and would not recommend DisplayLink products to anyone.
