How to set up my MacBook? Should I buy a docking station?

Hi, I have a 2020 MacBook M1, Monterey, 12.0.1.

My new USB adapter doesn't work. I have successfully used DisplayLink on other computers.

Should I buy a docking station from here?

I have two new monitors:
SAMSUNG 27" Class Curved 1920x1080 VGA HDMI 60hz 4ms AMD FREESYNC HD LED Monitor - LC27F396FHNXZA

Any advice will help.

is the only way with first gen M1 to have 2 monitor's. Been using the dell universal dock D6000 succesfully.
