Dell D6000 not recognizing usb ports (both A and C) in Monterey

I have Dell 6000, MBP M1 and Monterey 12.3.1

External Monitors do this:

1. DP>DP - works
2. DP>HDMI - not working
3. DP>USBc - not working

I'm not sure whether this is a Monterey and Dell 6000 problem, or a Monterey 12 and Displaylink problem

I might buy another DP>DP connection which might narrow down whether it's the port recognition on the Dell 6000 that's the problem, or whether it's a Displaylink more than 1 port issue...
