Is the Macbook Air M2's inability to utilize two displays a downgrade from the previous model? As I mentioned, this worked with my last laptop. A similar setup functions in my office, albeit using a dock labeled "DisplayLink Plug and Display." This, combined with your advice, implies that I must purchase a DisplayLink dock (or hub?) in order for this to work, even though that may not have been the case with the older laptop...? |

If the office setup which appears to be using a DisplayLink-based product works as expected, then it confirms that you need a DisplayLink-based solution at home. |

Many thanks. I'll invest in a DisplayLink dock.
Does anyone have a recommendation (Macbook Air M2, dual external, extended displays) besides the very limited DisplayLink list? |
