Hi!
I just got a D6000S for myself, hoping to connect two external screens to my MBP 2020 (M1). I've installed the displaylink drivers from here https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...ownloads/macos (version 1.12). However, when I connect the displaylink device, it seems my laptop does not fully recognize it. The USB ports work (even multiple at once). Charging works well. However the display ports do not do anything, and the displaylink software shows a message like "connect your displaylink device" - as if it was not being detected. In the system information - the dock shows up as a USB 2.1 Hub, which I understood is part of the problem. ![]() I tried rebooting, installing an older version of the firmware (first one for MacOS 15), tried another laptop, powering down the dock for several minutes reconnecting in some specific order, nothing seems to help.. Edit: Also tried to set in MacOS privacy settings "allow devices to connect" to "always". Could you guide me towards some other steps to try? much appreciated

Hi zajo,
Indeed, your docking station does not seem to work properly as it is detected as a USB 2.1 device The reason could be a faulty integrated USB-C cable. What I recommend before recognising a hardware failure: -Check if turning the USB-C plug 180 degrees helps, -Update the firmware on your D6000S using the update tool. Only available for Windows.
