I just got a new Macbook M3 Pro to replace my Macbook M1 Pro. I got an iVANKY hub to run three monitors and set it up with my M1 without any issues.
I have my new computer which I transferred from my old computer and when I plug in the hub, it tries to connect a display but then quickly goes back to just the Computer monitor. Evenutally if I power down the hub and power it back on, I get a message that says "USB Device is using too much power". I've disconnected all unnecssary accessories and even unplugged two of the monitos and it will not connect. I have tried all three USB-C ports on my computer. Anyone have the same issue? or have a potential solution I can try? Very frustrated at this point! Last edited by echardtb; 03-31-2025 at 08:20 PM. |

Hello echardtb,
This case is familiar with us. Unfortunately the solution is out of our reach. It occurs on devices which are powered by USB Bus. It seems that your M3 Pro is more sensitive to this than M1 Pro. To understand this issue more specifically please contact iVANKY.
