Default Observation and Bug with MacOS 15.5

I have an M3 MacBook Air running MacOS 15.5 and the Pluggable UD-6950PDZ that uses the DisplayLink DL-6950 chipset. Prior to the latest Mac OS update an arrangement with a DisplayPort monitor in slot #1 and a HDMI monitor in slot #2 worked fine. With the 15.5 update the HDMI monitor registered as a monitor under Mac Settings but nothing was shown on the screen. Reboots, moving the monitor to slot #3 etc did nothing. The issue was resolved by using a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter in slot #2. Allows me to continue working but obviously here is a driver bug that needs to be fixed.

Hello Jeff Robinson,

Thank you for reaching out.
In this case, the best course of action would be to contact Plugable's support team directly for further assistance.

It is for quite a while, and DisplayLink is doing absolutely nothing about it. Read the other threads, it is the same thing over and over again ... and no information, or no solution, no nothing. it is pointless to report to the technical team, as many many user before you have reported the bug, but it is now MONTHS and nothings happening.

Hi Marcus,

I’ve been reviewing your forum posts and have also located the logs you submitted through technical support. However, I wasn’t able to identify any device using DisplayLink technology connected in those logs.

Could you kindly share the exact model details of your Satechi dock? This will help us better understand the issue and assist you more effectively.

Regards,
Szymon

Hi Szymon,

Do you know how the fixes are progressing on Dell UD22 devices? It has been more than 3 months since the discovery, but there is still no progress. Have DisplayLink ever reported it to Apple or Dell? Thanks.

Hi samjaydev

I'm chasing this. Please stick to HDMI Monitor Not Working After macOS 15.4 Update with Dell UD22 Dock thread.

Regards,
Szymon
