Hi DisplayLink Team,
First of all, thank you for the great work on DisplayLink Manager — it’s been a huge help for Mac users like me who rely on multiple external displays every day. I have one small feature request that could really improve the macOS experience: 👉 Please consider adding Widget support for DisplayLink Manager. If we could have a small widget in the Notification Center or on the desktop, it would let users quickly: Enable or disable specific displays Refresh or reconnect monitors Switch display layouts —all without needing to open the menu bar app every time. This would make screen management much faster and more intuitive, and it would fit perfectly with how macOS users expect to interact with system tools. Thanks again for your ongoing improvements — I (and I’m sure many others) would love to see this feature in a future update! 🙏 |

Hello live,
Thank you so much for your feedback and for all the creative suggestions you've shared! We believe the most appropriate way to deliver these kinds of shortcuts in macOS 26 Tahoe is through the new customizable Control Center. However, during our investigation, we discovered that the Control Center currently doesn't allow third-party developers to create widgets as rich as those available for native apps. This may change in future OS releases, and we'll definitely keep a close eye on developments to explore any new possibilities that may arise. Best regards, Szymon |
