When taking screenshot using Shift-Cmd-5, on a natively connected monitor I'm able to choose which window to snap.
However on a DisplayLink connector monitor I can only snap the whole desktop. Can't confirm it is a MacOS 26 limitation or DisplayLink limitation? |

Hi Baoshi,
It's surprising that you experience this. You can double check with Shift-CMD-4 then space bar and select an individual window. Regards, Szymon |

Hi Syzmon,
Thanks for the information. So I dig further and found it is because BetterDisplay's "Prevent overlays from affecting screenshots and screen recordings" is turned on for my DisplayLink connected monitor. If I turn this off screenshot is ok. Maybe @waydabber knows more about it. |
