Default Displaylink recognizes monitor, but no display

My displaylink usb adapter has been working fine for 6 months or so. When I logged in today however, I cannot get the monitor to display anything - just black screen. I have tried multiple cords and multiple monitors. Cords are fine and monitors are fine. The weird thing is that the monitor is recognized in the display settings of the laptop and I can even move my mouse over to the that screen (mouse disappears into the "blackness"). No matter what I try though, nothing is displayed there. I have also gone to the displaylink website and updated drivers. Has anyone experienced this issue or have ideas? I am on Win XP 32 bit laptop. I have regular monitor set up and use the laptop monitor as well. So, when working I have 3 monitors. Please help.

Thanks
Brett

Can you check that it is not one of the issues covered in this thread:

And if not, post the log files as described here:

Default Still not working

Shortly after I sent the original issue, the monitor connected to display link hardware started working. Not sure what I did to fix it. Yesterday, it quit working again and I have not been able to fix it. I have gone through what you suggested and ensured that software is installed and recognized. I ran your debug tool and have attached the zip file. Please take a look and let me know if you have suggestions.

Thanks
Brett

I see you have another mirror driver installed:

Graphics: DameWare Development Mirror Driver (DameWare Development)

This seems to be causing issues with us trying to install our mirror driver. Could you try uninstalling this and see if it fixes the issue?

Thanks
