is there are general Dell D6000 problem?

Yesterday my Dell D6000 which i have been using to run 2 external displays on my mac book pro suddenly stopped working. And by suddenly I mean literally stopped working from one moment to another. No updates, no new software, nothing.

I literally tried everything I found in this forum to fix it, even updated it using an old windows laptop, but no luck.
Even more odd, no computer seems to recognize the dock any more. Only the firmware updater was somehow able to recognize it and still is. other than that, only the usb hubs seem to work fine.
Tested 2 Macbooks and 1 Windowslaptop.

So after all that testing I assumed the device is just broken (and probably is). However what still bothers me is all the posts latley popping up in this forum stating the exact same problem. And it seems unrelated to the device since it is equally happening for windows and mac users.
It feels a little bit like to much of a coincidence that all of these devices suddenly stopped working at the same time.

Let me know what you think and feel free to post it here if you have having trouble with your D6000 as well.

Yes. I've had the exact same issues. One day everything was fine. The next, nothing works except power.
