Default Screen Flickers with 2 Display Adapters

I wasn't receiving any problems when I was using one display link usb 3.0 to hdmi adapter but when I added another one to the mix I started experiencing my screens going blank for 2 seconds then turning back on every couple of minutes. I'm guessing that is called a screen flicker but I'm not sure. Everything else works fine but this keeps happening at random times. I am currently running a pci-e usb 3.0 adapter card which currently has the two adapters plugged in each of the two available slots. I believe the drivers for this card are the most recent but I'm not sure. I am running windows 7 64 bit without sp1 and the latest drivers for display link. The display adapter is a Uspeed USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter which can be found on amazon. I am running one monitor in the middle which is the primary and one and a 17 in on top of that on the onboard graphics. The two adapters are powering 2 22'' monitors that are on the sides of the primary display. Any thoughts on what could be causing the "screen flickering"? Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

This can happen if the adapter cannot get enough power from the USB hub. Make sure that the USB hub has an external power supply connected, as that could solve the issue you are seeing.
