I'm encountering the display quality issue after connecting my netbook to a monitor by UGA. In my case, it looks exceptionally brighter and higher contrast than direct connection through VGA or HDMI.
I've browsed around in the forum for a solution, and unfortunately, it is actually unavailable at this moment. I hope DisplayLink can add this function back to next version driver, or provide a generic or third-party software once it's available. Hope DisplayLink can perfect the product along with end-users, and I wish DL a success. By the way, I'm using a USB2.0 - DVI UGA by Winstar, and netbook is running Windows XP Home. Thank you for the attention. |

There is no color correction in the chip in your adapter, but it is possible to change the screen color settings in the monitor. This is because we support DDC/CI interface to the monitor.
This can be changed using 3rd party tools eg Screenbright: http://screenwhite.com/screenbright/ Wim |
