Default Kensington Displaylink

I am having trouble updating the drivers/software for my Kensington Notebook Docking Station.

Model:M01065

I have downloaded the updated drivers and installed them and now every time I plug it into my PC it tells me it is not compatible with this OS (Win 7) and to download the new drivers. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and still nothing.

Also, I have read and did exactly as this thread said...http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1372

Any ideas?

Thanks

Bob

still can not get this thing working. every time i plug in the Kensington dock it runs an auto start program and then tells me to update the drivers, which I already have done from Kensington and Display link. Any idea on how to get this thing working so I can run my monitors?

It's possible this is an early dock and has v5.0 programmed into the auto install. This will not install on Windows 7 (as it was released before Windows 7 was available).

The software was switched to be v5.2 when Windows 7 was released, so there were only a few early docks with 5.0. I thought v5.5 from the Kensington site should work with these docks, but I might be wrong. I guess if you've tried installing just v5.5 from the Kensington website and still have the problem, then it's not possible to do this?
