Nvidia Quadro 1000M Optimus and Intel HD 3000 on W520

I have a Lenovo W520 Laptop with 64bit Windows 8 Pro, Nvidia Quadro 1000M and Intel HD 3000 graphics

Docking Station with two DVI ports

Under Windows 7 I was able to run the laptop screen, two monitors connected to the Dock, plus a DisplayLink Screen. (4 total)

I believe it is a known limitation that this is not working under Windows 8 now. But is there and estimate on when it might?

I cannot boot to just the Nvidia 1000M it locks up (this is a known limit of the laptop today) So it seems I am stuck with this Optimus setup.

Hoping there is a fix in the works, a wild estimate on when it will work as it did in Windows 7 would help me a great deal.
