Default monitor not working, targus acp70EU

hi everybody
checked all recommended facts as stated below
Is DisplayLink software installed correctly?
Is the DisplayLink service running?
Does the USB device appear in device manager?
Has the USB device booted correctly?
Do you have the latest graphics driver installed?
Do you have the latest USB 3.0 host controller driver installed?
After checking the above have you attached the log files?

i'm having problem with my additional acer monitor which is connected by DVI to the targus station. i'm using a hp folio 13.

interestingly my mouse (logitec) connected to the targus station is working perfectely and only no monitors are detected.

attached you find the support file. thx for your help, its my birthday today and i spend hours to fix it without success

Hi,

I'd suggest upgrading your USB 3.0 host controller driver and your graphics driver to the latest available off the HP support site.

Let me know how you get on (and happy birthday!)

Thanks,
James

hi, thx for your reply
i updated all drivers available and can state i have a very updated HP folio 13 now! however it didnt help and so i called my distributor. fortunately the service is excellent and they sent me a new device free of charge as they already had this kind of problem

AND YES NOW IT WORKS PERFECTLY with the new docking station.

hopefully this thread will help others how still are working out if there is a software problem.
