Default Problem on my Win 7 64 bit laptop

Hi all!

I am trying to connect a second screen to my laptop, i want to use the internal screen and two external ones. I performed the installation as requested and plugged the device into the USB 3 connection.

But i am unable to produce any picture on the third screen, i am also unable to use the displaylink software. It is running in the background as a service, and everything looks fine and dandy in regards to the debugging list. The adapter is listed in the device manager, in regards to the knowledge database so it should be recognised by the computer. I do not get the system tray icon displayed either.

I have installed the newest driver and so fourth.
My system:

Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate
Intel i7-4700MQ
Intel HD 4600
&
Nvidia GeForce GT 750M (auto switching between these two)

I am attaching a debugging file, please give me a hand

Hi,

Can you try restarting the DisplayLink Manager service?

Select Windows key
Type "Services"
Hit Enter
Select DisplayLinkManager service
Select Restart the service

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks,
James

Hi,

I've raised this internally for further investigation.

Was 7.4 M2 the first DisplayLink driver you tried? Or did you try earlier builds first?

Is the HP 23xi monitor directly attached to the notebook?
What make + model of monitor do you have attached to the USB adapter?

Thanks,
James
