Alienware m17x + Displaylink = No Nvidia graphics

So apparently, the Displaylink software completely cuts off the use of multiple graphics cards. My new m17x has a Nvidia 780m in it but as soon as I install the displaylink drivers, i cant use it.

I've tried disabling the integrated graphics and forcing the system to use only the Nvidia card, but displaylink forces everything to use the integrated graphics card. I'm using the m17x with a Plugable UD-3900.

If anyone has heard of this and maybe knows what the issue is let me know. The only solution i could find was to uninstall the displaylink software.
