Default No External Display with Win 7

Have 2 ACP 71USZ item 60 docking ports and neither one shows the laptop (ASUS Zenbook 31 screen on external monitors using either HDMI or DVI-D. Reloaded drivers (Intel USB3 eXtensible Host Controller 1.0.10.255 and Display Link Graphics 7.6.66705 and DisplayLink Core 7.6.55673. The issue is that Targus USB3.0 DV Dock with Power shows in Other Devices under Control Panel with 2 USB Controllers but Properties indicates that they are not working and have no drivers. There does not appear to be anyway to load drivers other than to run the install program and hope that it loads them which it does not.
Any ideas? I talked to tech support and they could not solve the problem.

Default Partial Solution

I found a way to install a driver to get the video out to the external display from a previous thread

http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=62894

but now I lack the audio and the Ethernet is not working even though it lights up on the docking station. There is no Ethernet under devices and I am not sure where to look for the audio.

Default Problem solved with upgrade to Windows 8.1

There were some corrupt Win 7 files on my computer and the Microsoft tech support had to fix to get Windows 8.1 to install. After that, the DisplayLink dock power installed drivers and started working.
