Thumbs down DisplayLink Driver/Software kills Nvidia Optimus

Hello,

for a long time with Windows 8.1 I had the problem that some games won't use the Nvidia GPU anymore. I tried every single Nvidia Driver but had no luck to get it working.

Yesterday I installed Windows 10 and right after installation I tested the games again. For my surprise they used the Nvidia GPU! Continuing with the installation I installed the drivers for my DisplayLink USB Adapter. Today I tried to start one game again, but surprisingly it only used the Intel GPU again. Removing the DisplayLink USB Adapter didn't change anything. After uninstalling the DisplayLink Driver/Software and rebooting the game used the Nvidia GPU again.

I already had a long discussion with Nvidia about that problem, before I knew that your software/driver is the problem. So could you please fix it!?

Thanks in advance
Cutter
