Hi,
my wavlink keeps connecting / reconnecting. the software is up to date . when all plugged in if i plug my phone into the wavlink port it shows on my computer. however I am not able to select the second monitor. to run as dual displays. I havent used the set up for a few months. but i did have it talking to the monitor for a brief run 2 days ago, but it kept disconnecting/freezing. i ran the test and have attached the report I am running 8.1 on a Dell XPS12. any help would be greatly appreciated LS |

Hi,
The logs are showing USB connection errors. Can you run through this FAQ for some suggestions? http://support.displaylink.com/knowl...from-repeatedl Thanks, James |

hi guys,
i have the same issue with a XPS 12, under windows 10. I tested also another laptop dell E7440 and i still have monitor disconnection. My dock station is a brand new Dell Dock USB 3.0 monitor stand (MKS14). tested other usb 3 cable, same thing, drivers and bios up to date. the only workareound is to use a USB2 cable and it works fine. where is the issue ? windows 10, driver, docking station ? thanks for your help |

Hi,
I have a brand new MKS14 dock as well and have the same issue with a Dell Latitude E5550 under windows 10, with drivers and BIOS up to date. Like cpolyn I need to use an USB2 cable to prevent the monitor from repeatedly disconnecting/freezing. I tested the MKS14 also with a Lenovo Thinkpad T520 under Windows 7 and that works fine even with an USB3 cable. With both system configurations I have an additional issue. Two of four USB ports and the built-in card reader of the MKS14 do not operate and are not shown in the device manager. Could this be a MKS14 hardware problem? Thanks for your help! |
