I can't possibly be the only one having this issue. Since upgrading my Surface Pro 2 tablet to Windows 10, I have a recurring issue where the PC has been asleep or hibernating, when I log back in any attempt to launch a site that has a video it locks up the browser window. This happens in Internet Explorer, Edge, and Firefox. In addition, if I try to use a remote video app such as Remote Desktop or Splash top, they too will not complete their remote video connection. The only way to rectify the issue is to reboot.
I thought maybe it was specific to my Surface 2 Pro, but I recently upgraded to a Surface Pro 4 and am experiencing the EXACT same issue. I posted this issue in the Windows forums and they keep referencing the Display Driver. I believe this has to be related to the Display Link. My Display Link device is a Belkin USB 3.0 Dual Video Windows 8 Tablet Docking Stand. Running DisplayLink Ver. 7.9.630.0 is ANYONE else seeing this issue? Its so frustrating. |
