Lenovo USB 3.0 Dock

We've got several Lenovo S230u laptops at the school district I work for. We've currently got a few hundred of the laptop/dock combo.

The issue we're currently having is that with the newest driver change, 7.9M4 and even with 7.9M5, the audio cuts from the external speakers connected to the 3.5mm audio plug in the front of the dock to the onboard speakers on the laptop. The issue comes and goes and many times can be caused by pausing or switching from different youtube videos playing on the chrome browser.

Plugged into the dock is a SB680 SMARTboard, a 3.5mm loudspeaker, 1 VGA monitor and some other miscellaneous items such as keyboards and mice.

If there is any more clarification necessary, please let me know! I hope we can perhaps find a solution.
