I have an HP SpectreXT notebook and HP 3005pr USB 3.0 Port Replicator since 2013. I have never had any problems with them until a couple of weeks ago that the Port Replicator stopped working after a Fatal Error on the notebook. After a review of the Device Manager I discovered that the Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub was not working. None of the attached devices, except for the USB 2.0 hard Drives work.
Attached images and logs of the problem that can give you a better idea of the problem. Any help in recovering my Port Replicator will be greatly appreciated. I am using all the USB Ports, Audio port, Ethernet port. HDMI and monitor ports, and none of them work. 20160316114648 Device Manager Screenshot.jpg 20160316114848 Generic SuperSpeed Hub Properties - General.jpg 20160316115041 Generic SuperSpeed Hub Properties - Driver.jpg LUFI-SPECTREXT_20160316_114017.zip |

Hello,
DisplayLink technology does not power the USB hub. The chip we make is connected to that USB hub like any other device by the designer/manufacturer of the docking station. So if it doesn't work, it's normal you don't get DisplayLink device at all. I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer, HP, for hardware support. Kind regards, Alban
