Default 8.0 M2 Windows Driver Foundation CPU issue

Hi,
I'm having trouble with the latest Display Link software. When I connect the dock to USB the WUDFHost.exe process starts consuming a lot of CPU. When the computer is idle the process consumes about 5 % CPU and when I start working (moving windows around etc) the process can consume up to 40% CPU. Attaching screenshot from task manager.

My computer is a Dell XPS 13 running Windows 10 Pro x64. I'm running two external monitors. I updated all drivers for my computer except the latest display drivers which I cannot install because the installation file from dell update crashes my computer when I run it.

I have used DisplayLink Support Tool to gather information to a zip file. Where should I send the file?

Thanks for helping.

Hello,

You can send the file to the email address listed in the article giving the tool or post it here.
Please describe what you are doing and running as well, and state if you have installed https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/3194496 in your email.

Kind regards,
Alban
